If anyone does not know, I am engaged to a beautiful woman named Eeva Kauttu who currently abides in a European country high up in the Arctic circle called Finland. It is her homeland. Tommarrow I endeavor to get on a plane and fly up to this country to spend three weeks getting to know my fiance’s culture, family, language, and straight lifestyle a little bit better. I have been there once before but that was before we were engaged. This time I will actually be there during Christmas and new years together with her huge family. I have been wrapping a lot of Christmas gifts cause she has eight sisters and one brother. Her birthday is on Christmas eve. So me and my family got her twice the amount of gifts. I am excited, and nervouse. I am wondering how in the world did I end up falling in love with a woman that is living in another part of the world. It deffinately makes things more complicated. But also, it makes everything much more adventurouse, mysterious, joyous… Its been quit the journey. In Finland there is only three or four hours of sunlight in a day during the winter and the rest of the time is dark. So I will be spending more time indoors to write blogs and what not. You will be hearing from me while I am there. Or I might take a break. Who knows. Well. I gotta wrap some gifts. HAVE A G;1
